Panthers World of Entertainment has initiated substantial redevelopment of its licensed club facility with a vision of a multimillion dollar entertainment complex to open in stages between 1996 and the year 2000

Refurbishment of Reflections nightclub into an interactive gaming lounge for blackjack, roulette or a bet on the horses using the latest interactive gaming technology

Intencity - the world's best interactive entertainment centre opens at Panthers. The Intencity complex will house the popular "NRG" high-tech games area. It will also be the place to play just about every conceivable sport within four walls including virtual reality baseball, boxing and golf, creating an entertainment experience for people of all ages

Future stages of development incorporate the entire Panthers site with the addition of outdoor facilities and park lands, a pitch and putt golf course, second road entrance, multi-deck car park, improved pedestrian access and a new foyer and club entrance with a small retail area. A further 200 rooms will be added to the complex for guest accommodation. Expansion to Intencity will introduce a kids gym and entertainment area. More rides will also add to the attractions at Cables Waterski Park. The poker machine lounge will expand to a massive 1,500 machines.

By the start of the year 2000, the vision of Panthers is of a vast entertainment resort providing diverse accommodation, dining, nightlife, and sporting and recreational activities for members and visitors of all ages.

While some of the club's restaurants and venues will be undergoing refurbishment, much of the work will occur behind the scenes so as to not interrupt the operation of dining, accommodation and conference services and the huge selection of activities at Panthers. Every effort will be made to avoid inconvenience to guests as Panthers expands the quality of its services and facilities.

During 1996 and 1997, gradual expansion and renovation of the main building at Panthers will occur to boost capacity and modernise many facilities. Improvements to security surveillance, fire protection, emergency evacuation systems, lifts and access for guests with disabilities are key steps in the development.
